West Sikkim Tour Package

5 Days

West Sikkim Tour Package is a five-day sightseeing holiday with four nights in Yuksom, the historic village where Sikkim’s first king was consecrated in 1642. Instead of changing hotels every night, you return to Yuksom after each day’s outing. All longer transfers and sightseeing journeys are arranged by tourist vehicle.

The route takes you beyond the familiar viewpoints of Pelling. One full day covers Singshore Bridge, Uttarey, the Dentam region and the Mahatma Teyongsi Sirijunga Statue near Chayatal. Another begins with Kanchenjunga Falls and Khecheopalri Lake before passing Rimbi Orange Garden, Rimbi Falls and, if time allows, Darap. Pelling’s Chenrezig Statue and Skywalk, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins and Sidkeong Tulku Bird Park are the priorities for the remainder of that day.

A separate day is reserved for Yuksom’s own heritage: Norbugang Coronation Throne, Kathok Lake and Monastery, Mani Hall and Dubdi Monastery, together with Elephant Falls near Tshong village and Phamrong Falls. The journey is suited to travellers interested in history, village life and mountain scenery who do not want a multi-day trek.

This is a vehicle sightseeing tour, not a walking-free tour. Khecheopalri Lake, Rabdentse and some other sites involve short walks. Dubdi Monastery requires a longer, steep uphill forest walk and may be skipped by guests who prefer not to climb. Days 2 and 3 require early starts, with Day 3 particularly full. Actual stops depend on road conditions, attraction opening hours and daylight.

Tour Overview

Spend five days exploring West Sikkim while staying all four nights in Yuksom. This private tourist-vehicle tour brings together the Dentam and Uttarey countryside, the Mahatma Teyongsi Sirijunga Statue, Pelling’s royal and Buddhist heritage, sacred Khecheopalri Lake and the waterfalls around Yuksom.

The sightseeing is carefully sequenced, but some locations involve short walks and Dubdi Monastery requires an uphill forest climb. Day 3 is a long excursion: guests should leave early, and Darap or other optional stops may be omitted so that the important Pelling sites receive priority.
