I loved the Old Silk Route circuit from Aritar through Zuluk. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe and at home with the guide and driver. The guide, Sanam, and Driver Milan were so respectful. Sikkim, despite being a state in India, stands apart from the rest. Some ATMs were down, and the staff went out of their way to help me manage my cash. Go Wild arranged everything, even the permit paperwork. What I remember is dropping by Gangtok, Checking my rooms, and roaming around.
